Dr. Koudinov Medical School Curriculum and postgraduate education included advanced specialization in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Neurosciences, Human Physiology, and Sports Medicine course. These qualifications led him to take responsibility in establishing The Doping Journal during 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. His particular interest in doping science includes behavioral and neuroscience aspects of performance enhancement.

Dr. Koudinov other interest is neuroscience of lipids. His contribution includes elucidation of the role for cholesterol and phospholipids in synaptic plasticity and neuronal degeneration, Alzheimer's soluble amyloid beta protein association with high density lipoproteins in the body fluids, the role for amyloid in cholesterol and phospholipid dynamics, and establishing the major subject journal Neurobiology of Lipids.
